Exit the game completely, and also restart your device. We suggest that you update your game to the latest version to see if you are able to save your game to the cloud. Note: I had already provided info that updating to this release started my problems. Would you be able to confirm that you have successfully updated the game to latest(3.25.1) version of the game, and that the issue still persists? Let us know! We have experienced systematic inconveniences with Cloud Save in our older versions of the game.
